Today, The Topps Company, the exclusive trading card partner of Major League Baseball, announced the launch of their first of its kind social media giveaway in honor of MLB’s Opening Day.
Starting April 1st, eligible baseball fans nationwide can enter for a chance to win the ultimate clubhouse package to help kick off the start of baseball season and one lucky fan winner will receive the ultimate upgrade to their MLB viewing experience at home, which includes a 65-inch flat screen TV, Topps® posters and collectibles of fan-favorite teams and players, a custom YETI® cooler filled with refreshments, and classic baseball snacks.
“There’s always a feeling of joy and excitement in the air as fans gear up for MLB’s Opening Day, and this year, we especially wanted to give baseball fans the opportunity to experience the start of baseball season as if they were right there in the stands,” said David Leiner, VP and General Manager of Global Sports and Entertainment. “We’re thrilled to be a part of the excitement for the upcoming season as we continue to celebrate our milestone 70th Anniversary of producing Topps baseball cards.”
To enter for a chance to win, fans must post a picture of their most unique Topps baseball card on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook tagging @topps and using the hashtags #ToppsOpeningDay and #sweeps. Fans can submit any card from the last 70 years of Topps baseball, and are also invited to include a favorite memory or moment in baseball history. Fans will be able to enter their submissions until May 3rd and Topps will randomly select one lucky winner for the clubhouse prize on May 10th.
