Sleeping in Seattle

The Seattle Storm had their WNBA Pride Game last night, part of a league-wide initiative to promote and market directly to LGBT fans and players–the first of its kind.

Jenny and Allison, the first of many couples to be shown kissing that night, became the first LGBT couple to be intentionally broadcast over the “Kiss-Cam,” a camera that puts a heart around the faces of two people and eggs them on to kiss.

The best part about their kiss? No one really noticed. It wasn’t a large piece of news today, especially with World Cup dominating most news streams, and it won’t be tomorrow.
