Just before 4 p.m. today National Gay Flag Football (NGFFL) commissioner Thurman Williams announced that the 2020 Gay Bowl scheduled to be played this October in Honolulu has been cancelled. “This decision, while difficult is prudent” said Williams in a messaged posted on Facebook.

“While Gay Bowl is in October and it seems to be far away we cannot forecast what is to come as it concerns COVID-19” continued the commissioner.
