Meet The NBA’s First Female Assistant Coach

Becky Hammon, current San Antonio Star WNBA player is the first woman in history to be elected to an assistant coach position in the NBA. Hammon expressed great interest in coaching recently to San Antonio brass, and after a fantastic and electric showing of energy during practice sessions with the teams players and other coaches, she was awarded the job of Assistant Coach to last season’s NBA Champions the San Antonio Spurs.
