You’ve probably heard at least the chorus line of “Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime” since it’s been used for years by a number of major companies for their ad campaigns. It always stirs a sense of impending summer fun and excitement.
Summer’s a time each year to give in to the urge to play, laugh and dream of being that kid once again going swimming, going to the beach, taking a road trip or playing ball with your friends.
Our swimsuit issue is always one of our most popular and we like to change it up every so often giving in to a sense of whimsy. So with our summer creative juices swirling, 2019 happens to one of those whimsical years.
Thanks to the fun, creative pairing of Kansas City’s Terri Goddard and Scott Switzer of the 2019 Gay Softball World Series (GSWS) host committee, photographer Terry Newell and swimwear companies LASC and Sylvia’s, we offer you some nostalgic summer fun in the form Polaroids (remember them?) of seven Kansas City models.

The CSDC is a member organization including all segments of the global sports community working together to harness their collective power for Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, Acceptance and Leadership.
