Gotham Volleyball League’s Big Apple XXXV

This weekend is quite active in the LGBTQ+ Sports Community! We are heading to the Big Apple to celebrate Gotham Volleyball League’s 35th annual tournament, Big Apple XXXV. 60 Teams are coming together for the two-day tournament, going head to head in a friendly gathering of competition and socializing. Kicking off today with the opening social at the Gym SportsBar in the heart of Manhattan. The tournament itself is held at the Fitzgerald Gym at Queen’s College on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday evening, the event concludes with a fabulous banquet and awards ceremony at the Copacabana. Complete with buffet, dancing, entertainment and an open bar. It’s a great way to conclude a fun weekend of volleyball and friends before heading home. It’s a great tournament in preparation for the North American Gay Volleyball Championships coming up this May and the Gay Games this summer in Paris. For all the athletes taking part in Big Apple XXXV this weekend, HAVE FUN!
