Columbus, Ohio is set to host the 2020 Gay Softball World Series (GSWS) from August 24-29. The GSWS attracts qualifying teams from 46 member cities. Last year’s GSWS, hosted in Kansas City, Missouri, was the event’s largest with 207 teams represented.

Rumors have recently surfaced that this year’s GSWS would be delayed or cancelled. The events director, Dallas Aldridge, recently told Compete “We are optimistic. We have a lot of months before we must make a call, so we’re going to keep working and preparing for you all to join is in August. We can’t wait to provide another successful event in Columbus. “
