Phoenix, AZ, August 1, 2022
Fostering diversity, equality/equity and inclusion is becoming important in today’s business and social environments. The Compete Sports Diversity Council is proud to present the 2022 Compete Sports Diversity Summit in partnership with the Arizona Cardinals.
The Summit is comprised of two tracks.
The Business + Sales Track, Friday and Saturday, September 16th-17th. State Farm Stadium.
The Business + Sales Track unites professional sports organizations, non-profit organizations, corporations and small business to teach them to better market to the LGBTQ+ community in a thoughtful and authentic way. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, how to better support the community and how to earn the community’s business, creating a positive impact for every attendee. Each participant leaves with the Sports Diversity Leader (SDL) Certification with a Business Emphasis.
“The Business + Sales Track focuses on reaching the LGBTQ+ consumer on our terms, in a respectful way,” says Eric Carlyle, CEO of Compete Sports Diversity. “This allows organizations to help an underserved community and grow their business at the same time. When businesses generate more money they have more money to give back.”
The Community Track, Saturday, September 17th. State Farm Stadium.
The Community Track brings together individuals and organizations for a day of engagement, interactive learning and fun. Attendees will participate in roundtable discussions, panel presentations and Q & A sessions. Participant will earn the Sports Diversity Leader (SDL) Certification with a Community Emphasis.
To hosting such an important event, Compete has partnered with a number of organizations, such as CAN Community Health. “It is a true honor to partner with Compete Sports Diversity and the Arizona Cardinals to share CAN Community Health’s mission and passion in providing specialized medical care to those affected by HIV, STDs, and Viral Hepatitis.” Rogelio Capote, SVP – Marketing & Community Relations, CAN Community Health.
