2018 Arizona Gay Rodeo

Saddle up!! President’s Day Weekend is ripe for some Gay Rodeo down in Phoenix. Join the Arizona Gay Rodeo Association and all your favorite Cow-Pokes this weekend for a great time riding horses, roping calves, dancing, singing and enjoying an all around good time.

All main rodeo events are set to take place at the Corona Ranch, just outside of downtown Phoenix with VIP shuttle busses running to and from the ranch and Charlie’s Phoenix. In addition to a full slate of rodeo events, get ready for a wide variety of fun entertainment. Including line dance lessons, Country Idol, Mr. and Mrs. Charlies Phoenix Pride contests and definitely some solid drag performances.

This is Arizona Gay Rodeo’s 33rd year and is welcome to new participants. If you have not registered, there is still time! The opening registration is on Friday evening, be sure to contact the director in advance if you plan on registering. Even if you’re not taking part, come out and watch for it is a great time!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a rodeo without a prize purse! Courtesy of Charlie’s Phoenix $400 per day for 1st Place Men and Women in Bull Riding, Bareback Bronc Riding, and Steer Riding. $100 per day for 2nd Place in Bull Riding, Bareback Bronc Riding, and Steer Riding. It’s a good opportunity to sharpen your skills and hone your focus on competing.

On President’s Day itself, join all your rodeo mates for the Survivors Brunch at Charlie’s Phoenix to catch up on the weekends’ events.
