If you didn’t know, the Bingham Cup is the World Cup of Gay Rugby and is named after Mark Bingham, one of the hero passengers who stormed the cockpit on Flight 93 on 9/11. Mark was an openly gay man who was one of the founding fathers of Gay Rugby. Every year the annual Bingham Cup draws dozens of teams and hundreds of athletes together to compete in one of the most spectacular LGBTQ+ Sporting Events there is.

The Gotham City Rugby Football Club is ramping up to send their team to Bingham Cup, but they need your help. Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 from 7pm-11pm at the Industry Bar (355 W. 52nd St. New York, New York 10019) and all the funds raised will go back to the team and help the athletes make their way to Amsterdam this June for an unforgettable experience. Make sure you buy your drinks in advance, because the event is sure to make you plenty thirsty, these boys will be working all their goods to raise money for Amsterdam!
