CFL Stepping Up

The Canadian Football league has recently announced an initiative to end homophobia in their locker rooms by partnering with the You Can Play project.

The push will begin with naming an ambassador for each of the official CFL teams. The ambassadors will work to provide education and whatever other resources are necessary to assure out players of their safety and eligibility going forward.

The CFL, which has yet to have an openly gay player, could see some big changes in respect to that soon.
