2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games by the Numbers

Thanks to our friends at WalletHub.com, here is a look at the numbers for one of the most beleaguered Summer Olympic Games being held to date. But the show must … and will … go on in just four days. Even though the Russian athletes have already landed in Rio, instead of addressing the recommended ban of all their athletes due to the horrible state-sponsored doping that went on at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has refused to make a decision, instead foisting it off on the individual sports governing committees.

Will all the Russian athletes be sent home? Will some or all compete? Never has the old saying of “stay tuned; news at 11” been more accurate. Stay tuned to NBC for televised coverage that will answer this question and many more. Enjoy the infographic.
